This workshop deals mainly with theoretical simulations of inorganic materials and materials science problems and the structure – property relations. Experimental scientists will learn how to complement their experiments by DFT simulations with WIEN2k and the focus will be on theoretical structure-optimization, analysis of chemical bonding and simulations of various spectroscopies (IR, Raman, UV-Vis, XPS, XAS, EELS, NMR, Mössbauer, STM and AFM).
