We start our tour in the typical Viennese manner, by Hotel Sacher, where you will hear the first stories about the various methods of coffee making. Passing Albertinaplatz we then continue on the Michaelerplatz, where we reach our next coffee house – Café Griensteidl, renowned for its art and cultural scene at the end of 19th century. Traversing the Kohlmarkt square, we proceed to the royal imperial court confectionery Demel, Hotel Sacher’s greatest competitor regarding the world-renowned Sacher cake. Our tour’s final destination is the famous Café Braeunerhof, which was patronized by a plethora of artists and politicians, where we are enjoying a piece of fabulous cake and a cup of coffee.
